Thread: Tab and Link Manager 4 - version 4.0.003 is now available for download

Hi all,

I have released v4.0.003 of Tab and Link Manager 4, and it is now available to download from your Member Area.

This is a major update, which adds new features and also fixes some bugs.

I have fixed two bugs in the Impex system, which I found while updating this product (see Bug #2).

I have also added three new features that have been requested by customers:

1. Tab positioning on the NavBar (3 locations available for each tab)
2. Target attribute for Links and SubMenu Links (Allows a link to open in the same browser window/tab or another browser window/tab)
3. Tab/Link/SubMenu Link titles can now be either text or be a phrase (allowing for translations on multi-language forums)

The third option will require you to either manually create a new phrase or use a pre-exiting phrase name in the title.
I will publish a how-to in the Tab and Link Manager 4 support forum on how to add phrases if needed.

This update adds some new columns to all the tables used by this product in the database, so remember to do a backup of your database before upgrading to this version.

I am still trying to think of a way to implement this and can not promise it will make it into the next version, but if I do crack it, it will be added, but there is no ETA as to when that will happen.
