Hi all,

Over six months has passed since the introduction of the vBulletin.org Hacks Support subscription service. The current pricing matrix for this subscription service has been re-evaluated and found to be inadequate in many areas including the current pricing model of this subscription service to was found to be way too low for the amount of time and effort being put into development and support of my vBulletin.org hacks.

To improve support and development time for my vBulletin.org hacks, a new four-tier subscription model has been put in place and will take effect immediately.

Due to various factors, I have done away with all other currencies apart from the US Dollar. These factors include: simplifying the subscription process, fluctuating exchange rate, the cost of currency conversion and finally to enable automatic authorisation of subscriptions (ie no more 24 hour wait for approval). Removal of all other currencies also applies to all lifetime branding free multi-site license subscriptions as well, and is also be effective immediately.

The four tiers for our vBulletin.org Hacks Support subscriptions are as follows:
  1. 1 Month
  2. 3 Months
  3. 6 Months
  4. 1 Year
This new subscription model caters for people who fall into different categories, for example:
  • Just needing immediate help for one or two hacks and then will not need any more help (a 1 month subscription is ideal for this)
  • Only needs support a few times a year (1 month subscriptions when needed would probably be more cost effect for this)
  • Taking a couple of months setting up their new site, so needs support on and off for a couple of months (a 3 or 6 month subscription is ideal in this situation)
  • Are not comfortable with installing/configuring hacks at all, will want/need constant support (our 1 year will be ideal for this)
The longer the length of your subscription, the more you will save.

Subscriptions are not recurring, so if you do not want to extend your current subscription you can just let it lapse.

Current vBulletin.org Hacks Support subscribers are not affected by this change in the subscription model, but once their current subscription has expired, the new model will apply to them too.

I am sorry that I have to do this, but I grossly underestimated the pricing matrix to start with, and this should help me improve the service.

Regards,

Mosh Shigdar, Wolfshead Solutions.
