Please donate to the Australian Flood Appeals

Hi all,

Having spoken to a few victims of the Victorian and Queenland floods on the phone whilst performing my day job here in Australia, I wondered how I could contribute in some small way to the relief effort. So, I thought I would create this thread with a couple of links to official fund-raising sites where people reading this can make a donation if they wish.

For donations to victims of the Victorian floods:

• donations can be made to the Australian Red Cross via this url - http://www.redcross.org.au/ourservic...loods-2011.htm

For donations to victims of the Queensland floods:

• donations can be made to the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal run by the Queensland Government via this url - http://www.qld.gov.au/floods/donate.html

If any more official sites come to light at a later date, I will update this thread to add the information.
